Vassilina Floridi is the Major Shareholder and Representative of the Companies of the Floridis Meat Group. After completing her Master’s degree in Management at Cass Business School and gaining initial experience mainly through internships, she joined the family business, Floridis S.A., where she worked across key areas of operations. She was actively engaged in sales—serving major hotel chains—while also leading the purchasing department for all non-meat products.

During this time, she spearheaded the rebranding and repositioning of the company’s retail stores, which went on to become one of Floridis S.A.’s largest clients. Alongside her activities in the meat sector, she has also continuously managed the real estate arm of the family group, overseeing acquisitions, construction, renovations, and property management.

In 2022, following the sale of the family’s stake in Floridis S.A., she co-founded Floridis Meat Group with her family, continuing their father’s vision to supply Greece with high-quality meat products across every channel—packaged meats, cold cuts, and bulk supply for retail, wholesale, restaurants, and supermarkets. She also co-founded and currently runs Farmily, a new brand of retail shops focusing on high-quality meats at fair prices. Farmily caters both to everyday consumers and to small businesses, operating as a hybrid retail and meat cash & carry concept.

Today, Floridis Meat Group places a strong emphasis on sustainable growth and participates in research projects on clean-label products. In just three years, it has established itself as one of the country’s most dynamic companies in the sector, gaining significant market share, expanding continuously, and employing more than 200 people.
