Amanda Gudmundsson

Amanda Gudmundsson currently serves as Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Sweden in Greece. She joined the Swedish diplomatic service in 2014 and has held previous postings in Iraq and Qatar, as well as a number of positions within the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs and other government agencies and international organizations, with a focus on EU affairs, security and defence policy and crisis management. Fluent in German and Arabic, she holds an MA in International Law from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London, and an MA in Arabic with International Relations from the University of St Andrews, as well as further Arabic language studies at the University of Damascus.
